Employee Notification of a Vacancy. An employee eligible for reinstatement to a position shall be contacted by the Human Resource Department by telephone and notified that a position is available. The employee being recalled must inform the Human Resource Department within forty-eight (48) hours after this notification of intention to accept the position or forfeit all reinstatement rights. Employees who cannot be contacted by telephone (i.e., phone not answered and no method of leaving a message is available) shall forfeit all rights to the vacancy. It is the employee’s responsibility to either be available by phone or to have the appropriate device available whereby messages may be left. Failure of such notice to reach the employee shall not be the responsibility of the District.

  • Employee Notification A copy of any disciplinary action or material related to employee performance which is placed in the personnel file shall be provided to the employee (the employee so noting receipt, or the supervisor noting employee refusal to acknowledge receipt) or sent by certified mail (return receipt requested) to the employee's last address appearing on the Employer's records.

  • Notification of Vacancies A laid off employee shall be notified by certified mail of an appropriate vacancy, sent to the employee’s address on file in the office of the Executive Director for Human Resources Management. An employee’s failure to respond affirmatively in writing within five calendar days after receipt of the Employer’s letter shall cause loss of recall rights.

  • Application for Vacancies All employees under this Agreement, including those on layoff status, may submit application in writing for any vacancy which is posted pursuant to this Article.

  • Employee Notice After review of the employee’s timely response, if any, the University shall notify the employee of any action to be taken. An effective date of separation shall follow the employee’s timely response or, if no response is provided, shall be at least ten (10) calendar days from the date of issuance of the notice of intention to separate, pursuant to Section C., above.

  • Renewal Notice; Notification of Changes Subject to governing law, XOOM can renew this Agreement with new or revised Terms. XOOM will send you written notice at least (30) days before the end of the Term. The notice will specify the date by which you must advise XOOM if you do not want to renew your Agreement. If you do not advise XOOM by the specified date, this Agreement will automatically renew at the fixed rate or variable rate then in effect in accordance with the notice. XOOM reserves the right, with fifteen (15) days’ notice, to amend this Agreement to adjust its service to accommodate any change in regulations, law, tariff or other change in procedure required by any third party that may affect XOOM’s ability to continue to serve you under this Agreement.
