Common use of Eligibility Lists Clause in Contracts

Eligibility Lists. The term of each eligibility list shall be fixed by the Commission for a period of one (1) year, unless the list is exhausted prior to the expiration of the one (1) year period or if the list contains less than three (3) candidates. The list shall not be extended beyond the one (1) year period. The City agrees to schedule examinations upon notice of a vacancy in the position of sergeant or lieutenant.
