Eligibility for Merit Based Promotion. This promotion program shall apply to employees eligible for promotion from Maintenance Worker I to Maintenance Worker II, Water Meter Technician I to Water Meter Technician II, or Mechanic I to Mechanic II. A full‐time employee with at least three (3) years of full‐time service in the City’s Public Works Department will be promoted from the level I position to the level II position in the event he/she meets all of the criteria listed below:
