Common use of Disabled Employees Clause in Contracts

Disabled Employees. 16.01 In the event of an employee sustaining injuries, or becoming affected by a disease or illness and becoming disabled within the meaning of the Ontario Human Rights Code as a result thereof, every effort shall be made by the Company to give the disabled employee such suitable employment within the bargaining unit as is available, with the co-operation of the Union.
