DESIGNATED AGENTS. The Council shall request the Minister in terms of section 33 of the Act to appoint persons as designated agents to assist to giving effect to this Agreement. A designated agent shall have the powers conferred upon him in terms of section 142 of the Act, except the powers conferred by section 142 (1) (c) and (d).

The City Manager shall designate a member of his staff to be the primary contact person for the Padres with respect to the Ballpark Property and who is authorized to deal with the Padres on all matters relating to this Agreement. The Padres shall designate an executive officer to be the primary contact for the City with respect to the Ballpark Property and who is authorized to deal with the City on all matters relating to this Agreement.
