Design & Construction Standards and Certification. ‌ The rig DD-8 Rig is classified by ABS as A1 Self Elevating Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit –CDS (Certified Drilling System)Certified (MODU) and constructed in accordance with the standards described in the 1973 ABS Rules for Building and Classing Mobile Offshore Drilling Units. • The manufacturer/ his representative certifies the mast and superstructure. • All over head string components are inspected as per API - RP8B. • All cranes are inspected as per ABS. • All well control equipment including BOP will be tested with water, prior to spud, to its rated test pressure. • Drill string components will be inspected as per API – RP7G and DS-1 Category 4. Only certified well services equipment will be used. Appropriate certifying documentation must be provided to enable this to be verified. If the documentation does not arrive with the equipment, the equipment will not be put in to service until such time as verification can be made, unless approved in writing by the HOEC Drilling Supervisor and the DD-8 Rig OIM. In addition, approvals must be obtained from the HOEC Drilling Tech. Manager / Drilling Supdt. and DD-8 Rig Manager. Any additional HSE – critical equipment manufactured in India or on the rig will require appropriate certification prior to use, e.g. pressure vessels and lifting equipment. It is the responsibility of the HOEC Drilling Supervisor to ensure that any such additional equipment is fit- for-purpose and safe to use prior to entering service. All lifting equipment (i.e. slings, harness, padeyes etc) shall be inspected and certified prior to use by DD-8 team as per DD-8 Rig Procedure and each of the service company policies. At any time, if XXXX finds that the policies are not followed or they are inadequate, then HOEC will have the right to implement HOEC lifting equipment policy.

Within one hundred twenty (120) Calendar Days after the Commercial Operation Date, unless the Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner agree on another mutually acceptable deadline, the Developer shall deliver to the Connecting Transmission Owner and NYISO “as- built” drawings, information and documents for the DAF, such as: a one-line diagram, a site plan showing the Large Generating Facility and the DAF, plan and elevation drawings showing the layout of the DAF, a relay functional diagram, relaying AC and DC schematic wiring diagrams and relay settings for all facilities associated with the Developer’s step-up transformers, the facilities connecting the Large Generating Facility to the step-up transformers and the DAF, and the impedances (determined by factory tests) for the associated step-up transformers and the Large Generating Facility. The Developer shall provide to, and coordinate with, Connecting Transmission Owner and NYISO with respect to proposed specifications for the excitation system, automatic voltage regulator, Large Generating Facility control and protection settings, transformer tap settings, and communications, if applicable.

  • Design Criteria and Standards All PROJECTS/SERVICES shall be performed in accordance with instructions, criteria and standards set forth by the DIRECTOR.
