Definition of Hazardous Substance. The term “Hazardous Substance” means any hazardous, toxic, radioactive or infectious substance, material or waste as defined, listed or regulated under any Environmental Law, and includes without limitation petroleum oil and any of its fractions.
Definition of Hazardous Substance. As used herein, the term "hazardous substance" means any hazardous or toxic substance, material or waste which is or becomes regulated by any local governmental authority, the State of Wisconsin or the United States Government. (42 U.S.C. ss.6903); (g) defined as a "hazardous substance" pursuant to ss.101 of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act, 42 U.S.C. ss.9601, et. seq., as amended by the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986, 42 U.S.C. ss.9601, et. seq.; (h) polychlorobiphenyls; (i) solvents such as trichloroethylene and trichioroethane; (j) pesticides; or (k) "hazardous substances" as defined under the Clean Water Act, 33 U.S.C. ss.1251, et. seq.
Definition of Hazardous Substance. For purposes of this Agreement, the term "HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES" means any substance which is or becomes designated as "HAZARDOUS" or "TOXIC" under any federal, state or local law.
