Default Time. The time period set by the Program Participant prior to shipping that determines when the scanner will enter the low-power mode. The low-power mode default time shall be measured from the time the last image was scanned.

Default Time. Energy Star Program Participant agrees to set the product’s default time to activate the sleep mode within the time specified in Tables 2 through 11 (below), from the completion of the last job (e.g. from the time that the last piece of Hard Copy output was produced). Program Participant also shall ship products with the default time for the sleep mode set to the levels specified in Tables 2 through 11 (below).
