Day of Call. Hospice MSWs scheduled or assigned to weekend or holiday Counselor On- Call shifts must check in between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. with Referral Center staff, as applicable, or, if that person is not available, with a Hospice Nurse scheduled during that time, in order to find out what work may be needed during the Counselor On-Call shift. Hospice MSWs scheduled or assigned to weeknight Counselor On-Call shifts do not need to check in at the start of the Counselor On-Call shift.

  • Work on Day Off Full-time nurses called in on their regularly scheduled day off shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1½x) times the regular rate of pay for the hours worked.

  • Holidays Falling on Saturday or Sunday (a) For an employee whose workweek is from Monday to Friday and when any of the above-noted holidays fall on a Saturday and is not proclaimed as observed on some other day, the following Monday shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement; and when a holiday falls on a Sunday and it is not proclaimed as being observed on some other day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding section already applies to the Monday), shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement.

  • Public Holiday Work (a) For Employees other than Shiftworkers, double time and a half must be paid for any Public Holiday Work with a minimum payment of four hours.

  • Rostered Day Off 3.5.1 Any employee who by the circumstances of the arrangement of their ordinary hours of work is entitled to a rostered day off which falls on a public holiday prescribed by this clause shall, by mutual agreement, be paid for that day seven hours thirty six minutes at ordinary rates or have an additional day added to his/her annual leave, or shall be allowed to take the day off on an alternative weekday. Provided that where in the case of a shift worker the holiday on which he is rostered off falls on a Saturday or Sunday, this provision shall not apply.

  • Saturday Work A day worker required to work overtime on a Saturday shall be afforded at least four hours work or paid for four hours at the rate of time and one half for the first three hours and double time thereafter, except where the overtime is continuous with overtime commenced on the previous day.
