Common use of Covered Leave Clause in Contracts

Covered Leave. 2 Leave for one (1) hour or less may be granted within the work day, without loss of pay, 3 for the conduct of personal business, providing the unit member’s responsibilities 4 are covered by another certificated employee at no additional cost to the District. 5 Such leave is not cumulative and may be used only upon prior notice and 6 approval of the Site Principal.
