PURPOSE OF AGREEMENT 1.01 The purpose of this Agreement is to maintain harmonious and mutually beneficial relationships between the Employer, the employees and the Union, to set forth certain terms and conditions of employment relating to pay, hours of work, employee benefits, and general working conditions affecting employees covered by this Agreement and to ensure that all reasonable measures are provided for the safety and occupational health of the employees.
Purpose of the Agreement The purpose of this Agreement is to authorize PDL NPDL to charter space to PFLG in the Trade (as hereinafter defined).
Purpose and Scope of the Agreement The scope of this Agreement is to set out the rules, terms and principles according to which each Partner shall commit himself on the following points:
GENERAL PURPOSE OF AGREEMENT The general purpose of this agreement is, in the mutual interest of the employer and employee, to provide for the operation of the plant hereinafter mentioned under methods which will further, to the fullest extent possible, the safety and physical welfare of the employees, economy of operation, quality and quantity of output, cleanliness of plant and protection of property. It is recognized by this agreement to be the duty of the Company and the employees to co-operate fully, individually and collectively, for the advancement of said conditions.
PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF AGREEMENT 1.01 The purpose of this Agreement is to maintain harmonious and mutually beneficial relationships between the Employer, the Union and the employees and to set forth herein certain terms and conditions of employment upon which agreement has been reached through collective bargaining.
Interested Party for the purpose of filing a dispute relating to a solicitation, as used in this section, means an actual or prospective bidder or offeror whose direct economic interest would be affected by the award of a Contract or by the failure to award a Contract.
HEREBY AGREED AS FOLLOWS 1. Scope of this Agreement
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED AS FOLLOWS 1.1 The Disclosing Party intends providing the Receiving Party with certain information relating to [state the nature of the discussions and the reason for the disclosure here] (“the Project”).
WAIVER CLAUSE The parties acknowledge that during negotiations which resulted in this Agreement each had the unlimited right and opportunity to make demands and proposals with respect to any subject or matter not removed by law from the area of collective bargaining, and that the understandings and agreements arrived at by the parties after the exercise of that right and opportunity are set forth in this Agreement. Therefore, the Board and the Union for the life of this Agreement each voluntarily and unqualifiedly waives the right, and agrees that the other shall not be obliged to bargain collectively with respect to any subject or matter not specifically referred to or covered in this Agreement, unless mutually agreed, even though such subject or matter may not have been within the knowledge or contemplation of either or both parties at the time that they negotiated or signed this Agreement.
NOW IT IS HEREBY AGREED AS FOLLOWS 1. Words and expressions defined in the Principal Agreement when used in this Agreement have, unless the context otherwise requires, the same meanings as in the Principal Agreement and the provisions of clause 2 of the Principal Agreement as to the interpretation thereof shall apply to this Agreement.
