  • Access to the Work The Design Professional and its representatives shall have access to the Work at all times while it is in progress, and shall comply with all job site safety rules.

  • Changes to the Work 7.1 Changes to the Work may be accomplished by preparation of and execution of a change order or construction change directive. Change orders or construction change directives will be preceded by a change proposal request initiated by the Architect. The Construction Manager shall provide prices and details within 30 days of receipt of a change proposal request, and the Architect shall forward the completed change proposal request to the Owner within 15 days after receipt of the information provided by the Construction Manager.

  • Completion of the Work The Contractor must obtain Material Completion as defined in Section 6.1.2 below prior to any occupancy of the Project.

  • Correction of Defective Work 2.10.1 Design-Builder agrees to correct any Work that is found to not be in conformance with the Contract Documents, including that part of the Work subject to Section 2.9 hereof, within a period of one (1) year from the date of Final Acceptance of the Work or any portion of the Work, or within such longer period to the extent required by the Contract Documents or applicable Legal Requirements or Government Approvals.

  • Deductions for Uncorrected Work If the Design Professional and Owner deem it inexpedient to correct work injured or done not in accordance with the contract, an equitable deduction from the contract price shall be made therefore and confirmed by execution of a lump sum Change Order. The Contractor shall bear all costs of correcting such rejected Work, including compensation for the Architect's and the State’s additional services made necessary thereby. The Architect, upon a finding of defect or failure to conform, shall immediately notify the State and Contractor, in writing, of the defect. The Contractor shall begin correcting the defective or non-conforming Work within ten (10) days unless the State agrees to a Change Order which reflects the reduction in Contract Sum due to the value of diminishment of the defective or nonconforming Work.
