Conditions for Granting Unpaid Leaves of Absence. 1. All requests for leave will be applied for and granted or denied in writing and shall specify the reason for the leave and the beginning and ending dates requested or granted as the case may be. The teacher must apply for the leave at least sixty (60) calendar days prior to its commencement except in cases of emergency or when some other time limit is established for a particular type of leave. In case of denial, reasons for such shall be given.
