Compassionate Leave (a) An employee is entitled to 2 days of compassionate leave for each occasion when a member of the employee's immediate family, or a member of the employee's household:
Bereavement/Compassionate Leave 21.1 Employees (excluding casual employees) shall be entitled to a maximum of two days without loss of pay on each occasion and on production of satisfactory evidence of the death or near death in Australia of the employee’s partner, father, mother, brother, sister, child, stepchild or parents-in-law.
Compassionate Care Leave (a) Compassionate care leave will be granted to an employee for up to eight (8) weeks within a twenty-six (26) week period to provide care or support to a family member who is at risk of dying within that 26-week period in accordance with section 49.1 of the Employment Standards Act, 2000.
Taking compassionate leave (a) An employee may take compassionate leave for a particular permissible occasion if the leave is taken:

Screening 3.13.1 Refuse containers located outside the building shall be fully screened from adjacent properties and from streets by means of opaque fencing or masonry walls with suitable landscaping.
Alcohol Testing Alcohol testing will be conducted by using an evidential breath testing device (EBT) approved by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Non-EBT devices may be used for initial screening tests. A screening test will be conducted first. If the result is an alcohol concentration level of less than 0.02, the test is considered a negative test. If the alcohol concentration level is 0.02 or more, a second confirmation test will be conducted. Levels of .04 or greater on the confirmation test will be considered positive.
Intermittent Employees On the first day of the monthly pay period following completion of each period of 160 hours or 20 days of paid employment, each intermittent employee in the State civil service shall be allowed one (1) day of credit for sick leave with pay. The hours or days worked in excess of 160 hours or 20 days in a monthly pay period shall not be counted or accumulated.
Medications Psychotropic medications and medications associated with treating a diagnosed mental health condition.
Alcohol The intoxicating agent in beverage alcohol, ethyl alcohol or other low molecular weight alcohols including methyl and isopropyl alcohol.
