Common use of Commissioning Test Clause in Contracts

Commissioning Test. Tests applied to a small generator facility by the applicant after construction is completed to verify that the facility does not create adverse system impacts. At a minimum, the scope of the commissioning tests performed shall include the commissioning test specified IEEE standard 1547 section 5.4 “Commissioning tests”. Distribution Upgrades –A required addition or modification to the EDC's Electric Distribution System at or beyond the Point of Interconnection to accommodate the interconnection of a Small Generator Facility. Distribution upgrades do not include Interconnection Facilities. Electric Distribution Company or EDC - Any electric utility entity subject to the jurisdiction of the Maryland Public Service Commission.
