Classified Hourly Positions. 1. Classified hourly positions provide services on an intermittent basis for the College that cannot be provided via a regular classified position and are needed on an on- going basis throughout the year. These positions have an established minimum number of hours per day, days per week, and months per year when work is available. The number of hours may vary from semester to semester. No notice of layoff/reduction will be required when hours are eliminated or reduced.

  • Work Week The work week will begin at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday and end at 11:59 p.m. the following Saturday.

  • Full-Time Employees A full-time employee is one engaged as such and whose ordinary hours of work average 38 hours per week. The employee’s ordinary hours of work will not exceed an average of 38 hours per week over a 4 week period. Although the actual hours of work may vary from week to week, with some weeks greater than 38 hours and other weeks less, the employee will not work in excess of 152 ordinary hours in any four week period.
