Common use of Child Care Allowance Clause in Contracts

Child Care Allowance. The Employer shall reimburse, up to a limit of one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per hour, an Employee who is a single parent of a young child or children or where the other spouse is unable to attend to the child, for the cost of substitute care when an Employee works overtime.

Any rates paid in excess of those indicated in this article are negotiable in advance with the Employer.
