Checks and Balances. Every complaint received by the EDIC can inform whether the CA elements and processes need to be updated or modified. Annual activities should include: (1). The CA and policies should be reviewed in the context of complaints received and how they were handled. (2). The community culture should be measured, at least by administering an anonymous survey and possibly by focus groups. If the community is too small for anonymity to be assured, that survey can be administered and reviewed by the APS and/or another entity agreed upon by the community. (3). A report with the appropriate level of confidentiality should be made available to community members so that they can help determine whether the CA needs to be modified. (4). The community should discuss and reaffirm their commitment to the (possibly modified) CA, and discuss case studies that will help the members understand the importance of the CA to the functioning of the community.

  • Cash Balances Uninvested cash balances in my Account will be automatically swept into the Xxxxxx Xxxxx Money Market Fund according to my previous elections and authorizations relating to the treatment of cash balances. I understand and agree that the Xxxxxx Xxxxx Money Market Fund is offered by an Xxxxxx Xxxxx affiliate and, as a result, Xxxxxx Xxxxx has a financial incentive to select the Xxxxxx Xxxxx Money Market Fund as the available cash option, instead of a third-party cash product.

  • Balances Borrower shall maintain its major depository accounts with Bank until the Note and all sums payable pursuant to this Agreement have been paid in full.

  • Account Balances Balances shown in your accounts may include deposits subject to verification by us. The balance reflected in the Service may differ from your records due to deposits in progress, checks outstanding, or other withdrawals, payments or charges. A transfer request may not result in immediate availability because of the time required to process the request. A transfer request must be made before the Business Day Cut-off time to be effective the same Business Day. The balances within the Service are updated periodically and the Service will display the most current "as of" date on the "accounts" summary page. There may be situations that cause a delay in an update of your balances. The Service will use the most current balance available at the time of a transaction to base our approval for account transfers.

  • Negative Balances If your Stripe Account balance (or the Stripe Account balance of any User Group Entity) is negative, or does not contain funds sufficient to pay amounts that you (or a User Group Entity) owe to Stripe, its Affiliates or Customers, then without limiting Stripe’s rights under Sections 4.2 and 4.3 of the General Terms, Stripe may debit the User Bank Accounts by the amount necessary to collect, and pay out to Customers if applicable, the amounts you owe.

Any share draft or pre-authorized transfer, or transaction made through the use of a debit card, or other electronic means, as is applicable (including any in-person transaction), that is presented to Us for payment on Your Account when Your Account lacks sufficient collected funds to pay any such item may, at Our option, be returned for nonsufficient funds or We may honor any such item and charge You a fee for doing so. Overdraft Balance Calculation. When processing transactions that debit or credit Your Account, We start each Business Day with Your final Account balance from the preceding Business Day. The final balance takes into account all of the debit and credit transactions that were settled that Business Day pursuant to Our Funds Availability Policy, as well as any other debits or credits to Your Account that were finally settled that day, as described above in the "Deposit of Items" and "Collection and Processing of Items" sections of the Account Agreement. This starting balance at the beginning of a Business Day (the preceding Business Day's final balance) is sometimes referred to as Your "actual balance." As credits and debits to Your Account are received by Us, We add them to and subtract them from Your actual balance. Examples of credits include, but are not limited to, electronic direct deposits, check deposits that have been fully and finally collected, ACH credits that have settled that day, and cash deposits made to one of Our tellers. Examples of debits include, but are not limited to, checks drawn on Your Account that are presented to Us for payment, electronic fund transfer (EFT) debit transactions (such as preauthorized payments and settled EFT debits), memo-posted EFT debits (EFT debits that We have authorized but which have not been settled), and Credit Union fees and charges. The result of this calculation at any given point in time is called Your "available balance." For the purpose of determining whether an overdraft has occurred, We use Your available balance. First, We add all of the settled credit transactions to the beginning actual balance. Then, We subtract all of the debit transactions that settled that day. We also subtract all of the pending debit transactions. This determines the available balance for overdraft purposes. Each debit transaction that We process when Your Account has a negative available balance is an overdraft, subject to an overdraft charge. Subject to applicable law, You are responsible for paying any overdraft fees and charges assessed in connection with Our payment of an overdraft, as well as any NSF fees charged to Your Account when We dishonor and return an item for non- sufficient funds. It is Your responsibility to know Your Account balance, and if You have any questions You should contact a Credit Union representative.

  • Available Balance Each time you use your Card, you authorize us to reduce the value available on your Card by the amount of the transaction and any applicable fees, taxes or other charges assessed by the merchant. Transactions that exceed the remaining balance on your Card are prohibited and should be declined at the point of sale. If, notwithstanding an insufficient balance, an authorization is received by the merchant or the merchant uses other means to proceed with the transaction, then you agree to reimburse us for any amount in excess of the Card balance for such a transaction. Refunds for Purchases Made with the Card. Any refund for goods or services purchased with the Card will be made in the form of a credit to the Card and pursuant to the refund policy of the merchants where such goods or services were purchased. If you receive a credit, the credit may not be added to the available funds on the Card for seven (7) business days. You are not entitled to receive a cash refund. Disputes with Merchants. We are not responsible for the delivery, quality, safety, legality or any other aspect of goods and services that you purchase from others with your Card. All such disputes should be addressed to the merchants from whom the goods and services were purchased.
