Care and Inspections. Residence Life expects residents to keep their apartments and rooms in a clean, sanitary condition. Housing will inspect apartments and rooms for health, safety, and cleanliness at least once a term. They will address prohibited items, such as alcohol (when under 21), drugs, and drug paraphernalia. Student conduct meetings and fines may also result. Residence Life will provide written or oral notice before these inspections. Residence Life reserves the right to put apartments/suites on more frequent inspections (e.g. once every week) or random inspections between the hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Residence Life will provide one-time notice that apartments/suites are on frequent or random inspections, and they may continue indefinitely.
