Lead inspection means a surface-by-surface investigation to determine the presence of lead- based paint and the provisions of a report explaining the results of the investigation.
Onsite means within the Prescribed Premises boundary.
Commissioning Tests means the tests performed (including any repetition thereof) during the commissioning phase, including those set forth in Section 3 of this Attachment S, to demonstrate that the applicable Equipment or system is ready for use to receive Natural Gas and produce LNG for Performance Tests.
Home inspection means the on-site, physical review of the home of an applicant to assure the applicant and the home meets all health and safety requirements within these rules.

Testing means that element of inspection that determines the properties or elements, including functional operation of materials, equipment, or their components, by the application of established scientific principles and procedures.
Validation means the review of information, data, and procedures to determine the extent to which they are accurate, reliable, and free from bias and in accord with standards for data collection and analysis (42 CFR 438.320).
Quality Surveillance Engineer / Inspector means any person appointed by or on behalf of the Purchaser to inspect or carry out quality surveillance on supplies, stores or work under the Contract or any person deputed by the Quality Surveillance Engineer for the said purpose.
Tests means and include such test or tests to be carried out on the part of the contractor as are prescribed in the contract or considered necessary by BHEL, in order to ascertain the quality, workmanship, performance and efficiency of the contractor or part there of.
Final Inspection means the last or final visit for the purpose of survey or inspection, usually carried out on safety equipment items and functional trials in an initial survey or a periodical survey for a vessel;
Due Diligence Examination shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3.2.

The Inspecting Officer means the person, firm or department nominated by the Purchaser to inspect the stores on his behalf and the Deputies of the Inspecting Officer so nominated.
Location-specific environmental sampling means the collection of environmental samples (e.g., air, water, vegetation, soil, smears) at, and in the immediate vicinity of, a location specified by the Agency for the purpose of assisting the Agency to draw conclusions about the absence of undeclared nuclear material or nuclear activities at the specified location.
