Cafeteria Duties a) Middle School, and/or high school teachers may volunteer for cafeteria duty to supervise students and cafeteria aides, and shall be compensated at the rate prescribed in Appendix 2. If nobody volunteers, teachers may be assigned the duty of supervising cafeteria aides on an equitable, rotating basis during the school year. One such teacher will be physically present in each cafeteria in each secondary school for the entire lunch period. b) Elementary teachers will not be assigned cafeteria duty.
