Common use of Board Hearing Clause in Contracts

Board Hearing. Should the Governing Board decide to grant the request for hearing, the Governing Board shall meet in closed session, unless the complainant and the employee request a public hearing. No party to a complaint may address the Board, either in closed or open session, unless the procedures of this article have been followed. No hearing will be held by the governing Board on any complaint until the Board has received the superintendent’s written report concerning the complaint.
