BID YEAR. For scheduling, bidding and pay purposes, a Bid Year shall consist of twelve (12) Bid Months, each containing no less than twenty-eight (28) days and no more than thirty-two (32) days. Each Bid Year shall begin on or after December 31 and end on or prior to January 1.

  • BID OPENING All duly received bids will be opened immediately after the scheduled closing time of Bids at the same venue. Bidders or their accredited agents could be present at the time of opening of bids.

  • BID ACCEPTANCE PERIOD A bid shall constitute an irrevocable offer for a period of ninety (90) days from the bid opening date or until the date of award. In the event that an award is not made by the County within ninety (90) days from the bid opening date, the Bidder may withdraw their bid or provide a written extension of their bid.

  • Rest Period After Overtime (a) When overtime work is necessary, it will, wherever reasonably practicable, be so arranged that employees have at least 10 consecutive hours off duty between the work of successive days or shifts, including overtime.

  • Leave Year The leave year begins with the first full payroll period of a calendar year and ends with the payroll period in which December 31st falls.

  • Plan Year The year for the purposes of the plan shall be from September 1 of one year, to August 31, of the following year, or such other years as the parties may agree to.

  • WORKING TEST PERIOD Section One. The Working Test Period shall be deemed an extension of the examination process. Therefore, a determination of unsatisfactory performance during a Working Test Period shall be tantamount to a failure of the competitive exam.

  • Working Day Working Day means a day other than a Saturday, Sunday, or a holiday which is observed by the construction industry in the area of the Place of the Work.

  • National Competitive Bidding Goods estimated to cost less than $250,000 equivalent per contract and works estimated to cost less than $500,000 equivalent per contract, may be procured under contracts awarded on the basis of National Competitive Bidding.

  • ELECTION DAYS Work and travel will be arranged to allow employees the opportunity to vote on their own time on recognized state and federal election days unless they are given sufficient notice to enable time to obtain an absentee ballot.
