Best Flex. Full-Time employees may elect to participate in the College’s cafeteria plan, Best Flex. The benefits offered under Best Flex include: • Ability to pay employee share of the cost of medical, dental, and/or vision coverage on a pre-tax basisAbility to make pre-tax contributions to flexible spending accounts for annual reimbursement of up to $2,500 of medical expenses and up to $5000 ($2500 if married and filing separate returns) of dependent day care costs. New full-time employees may participate upon employment. Current employees may elect participation at the beginning of each calendar year. Under current IRS regulations, unused flexible spending account funds are subject to forfeiture at the end of each plan year.
