Common use of Benefits Age 65 and Older Clause in Contracts

Benefits Age 65 and Older. Extended health care benefits and dental benefits will be extended to active full- time employees from the age of sixty-five (65) and up to the employee’s seventy (70th) birthday, on the same cost share basis as applies to those employees under the age of sixty-five (65). Group Life Insurance will be extended to active full-time employees up to the employee’s seventieth (70th) birthday at one (1) times salary. In the event that an employee works past her or his seventy (70th) birthday, she or he shall be paid an amount set out for part-time in-lieu under Schedule A.
