Approvals for Designating an Uncertified AOR. An uncertified AOR is an individual who has never been certified or an AOR whose certification has expired as a result of not having completed the mandatory continuous learning requirements discussed in 303.3.15. In exceptional circumstances, the AO may designate an uncertified AOR with a written recommendation from: ● The cognizant technical office director, in the event that the Mission Director (MD) is the AO for Mission-executed agreements, or ● The cognizant office director or his/her equivalent, in the event that the Bureau’s Assistant Administrator (AA), Assistant to the Administrator, or Deputy Assistant Administrator (DAA) is the AO for USAID/W-executed agreements. The MD, AA, AtA, or DAA may recommend the designation of an uncertified individual as an AOR for a period of up to six months. The recommendation must be in writing and in accordance with the USAID Federal Acquisition Professional Accreditation & Re-Certification Program Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). The recommendation must include: ● A description of the compelling circumstances requiring the exception, ● Affirmation that the individual has completed the Phoenix Accruals online course, and ● Confirmation from the individual and the individual’s supervisor that the individual will complete the AOR certification and Agency training requirements within six months. The Director of M/OAA is the only person who can approve recommendations for extensions of the designation of an uncertified AOR beyond six months. This extension may be for an additional six months not to exceed a cumulative period of one year. The AO may designate an uncertified AOR only upon receipt of the appropriate written approvals.

  • National Board Certification A teacher who receives or holds a valid National Board Certification will receive a five hundred dollar ($500.00) stipend in each year the certification is valid and the teacher is actively teaching in the area of certification.

  • Required Qualifications for Surety The Contract provides that the surety and insurance companies must be acceptable to the Owner. Only those sureties listed in the Department of Treasury’s Listing of Approved Sureties (Department Circular 570) are acceptable to the Owner. All bonds at the time of issuance must be issued by a company authorized by the Insurance Commissioner to transact the business of suretyship in the State of Georgia, and shall have a Best Policyholders Rating of "A-" or better and with a financial size rating of Class V or larger.

  • Application for Vacancies All employees under this Agreement, including those on layoff status, may submit application in writing for any vacancy which is posted pursuant to this Article.

  • Timber Designations Timber designated for cutting shall be confined to Sale Area, except as provided in B2.131, B2.14, B2.15, B2.32, and B5.1. Sale Area Map indicates subdivisions, if any, where Marking under B2.35 is to be done after timber sale advertisement, except for construction clearing under B2.32, minor changes under B2.37, and damaged timber. The boundaries of Clearcutting Units, Overstory Re- moval Units, and Understory Removal Units were plainly Marked on ground before timber sale advertisement and are shown on Sale Area Map. Boundary trees shall not be cut. The number of units and approximate acreage of timber designations are stated in A3.

  • CFR PART 200 Domestic Preferences for Procurements As appropriate and to the extent consistent with law, the non-Federal entity should, to the greatest extent practicable under a Federal award, provide a preference for the purchase, acquisition, or use of goods, products, or materials produced in the United States (including but not limited to iron, aluminum, steel, cement, and other manufactured products).
