Written Approvals. The Design Professional shall comply with all applicable laws, codes, and regulations in effect at the time the Construction Documents are completed, and shall make reasonable efforts to obtain written approval of the appropriate authority of all proposed connections to private or public utility systems or public and private roads and streets, when such connections are planned as part of the Project. If no such approval can be obtained, the Design Professional shall so notify the Owner. The Design Professional shall design all connections to private or public utility systems or public roads and streets to comply with applicable ordinances, regulations and codes.
