Approval Non probationary members shall be eligible for reimbursement up to a maximum of $5,000.00 per calendar year, in courses of instruction voluntarily undertaken that are approved in advance by the Board of Trustees and are job related and which satisfy the requirements for an associates, bachelor’s or master’s degree that directly relates to the member’s position. All courses undertaken must be given by an approved and accredited educational institution approved in advance by and in the discretion of the Board of Trustees. In addition to the remaining Sections in this Article, the tuition reimbursement program shall be subject to the following additional conditions:
