Angles. The ability of measuring angles on the field can be important to characterize various geological features such as angular unconformities, fault planes and intersections, variations in flows, etc. The VR tool is capable of giving a measure of an angle in degree (°, ±0.01°), taken between three points placed anywhere in the virtual environment by the user (Fig. 14a).
