ALCOHOL AND DRUG ABUSE. ‌ The Employer and the Union recognize that alcohol and drug abuse can have a serious negative impact on both the Employer and the Employee. The Employer agrees to accommodate an Employee to the point of undue hardship and to assist an Employee with alcohol and drug related problems to overcome their dependency, provided the Employee is willing to participate in the accommodation process as well.
