Aggregate Provisional Sum Sample Clauses

The Aggregate Provisional Sum clause defines a total monetary allowance set aside within a contract for unspecified or variable work that may arise during the project. This sum is not allocated to specific tasks at the outset but can be drawn upon as needed for additional work, such as unforeseen site conditions or client-requested changes, with expenditures typically approved by the contract administrator. Its core function is to provide financial flexibility, ensuring that the contract can accommodate necessary adjustments without requiring formal amendments or renegotiations for each minor change.
