Common use of Agency Fee and Dues Deduction Clause in Contracts

Agency Fee and Dues Deduction. A. As a condition of continued employment every employee covered by this Agreement who is not a member in good standing of the Association, shall pay or, by payroll deduction, shall have paid to the Association an agency service fee in accordance with state law, provided, however, that in no case shall such condition arise before the thirtieth day next following the date of the beginning of the employee's employment or the effective date of this Agreement, whichever date shall be the later.
