Advancement Through Salary Steps. 203. Full time employees who are appointed at step 1 may advance to the second step upon completion of six (6) months continuous service and to each successive step upon completion of the one (1) year required continuous service. Part-time regularly scheduled employees may advance to the second step upon completion of 1040 continuous hours of service, and to each successive step upon completion of 2080 continuous hours of service.
