Advance Step Filing. If a grievance is occasioned by the action (or lack of action) of person(s) higher than that of the immediate supervisor, the grievance may be filed at Step #2. Such filing shall be termed "advanced step filing." Such advanced step filing shall only occur after exhaustion of procedures as set forth in Section 24.2.1 (Informal Resolution).
