ACTION PLAN DEVELOPMENT PROCESS. The action plan process reviewed the existing capacity needs assessment of the xxxxxx organizations conducted under previous livelihood development efforts. (More details are provided in RFSA 2.6, Current Fisheries Livelihood Enhancement Projects in the Grenadine Bank.) These were developed in 2015 using brainstorming exercises with the beneficiaries of the CMBP via its partner organization. These actions were validated and ranked according to their level of urgency via semi-structured interviews and focus group meetings. A joint workshop was held with xxxxxx organizations, MPA managers, fisheries officers, and key stakeholders to inform the findings of the RFSA and discuss actions for issues and challenges gathered by the RFSA process. Validated and ranked actions by fishers were incorporated. The proposed actions were also crosschecked with the fisheries sector policy action plan of SVG and Grenada. Site visits were conducted to validate the on-the- ground situation and compile justification for proposed actions. A participatory planning approach was used to reach consensus on the proposed actions for the CMBP with key stakeholders and target beneficiaries of the project. Multiple discussions were also held with CMBP coordinator and partners to ensure that the actions met feasibility standards.
