Existing Capacity definition

Existing Capacity means the existing capability of the Infrastructure (in the absence of any new Infrastructure or modification to existing Infrastructure) to accommodate Train services, after:
Existing Capacity has the meaning given in the Access Undertaking. Expansion has the meaning given in the Access Undertaking. Expansion Infrastructure for an Expansion means the section or sections (as applicable) of the Infrastructure (excluding Customer Specific Branch Lines and Connecting Infrastructure) on which:
Existing Capacity means the original capacity on Carrier’s system that existed prior to the addition of any Expansion Capacity through an expansion project.

Examples of Existing Capacity in a sentence

  • Where an existing Customer requests an increase in capacity then it is the increase above their Existing Capacity.

  • If and when National Grid participates as Project Sponsor on behalf of any Project, the Applicant must support National Grid, as required, to qualify the Project as an Existing Capacity Resource in the FCM.

More Definitions of Existing Capacity

Existing Capacity means all or a portion of System Capacity that is available on System Segments that TransCanada determines in its sole discretion to be available for an Open Season;
