Achievements. Key achievements include: the implementation of child survival activities in 227 communities; support of community health programs by three municipal governments and 92 health volunteers; joint implementation of health activities of three Area Health Centers and their respective health posts; staff trained in key child survival interventions and the IMCI approach; and over 16,100 women and children benefiting from primary health care interventions.
