Other Collaborations. Each of the University and the Company shall be free to conduct other research, whether under the sponsorship of or in collaboration with, the federal government or other third parties, or otherwise, provided that the terms and conditions of any such research, sponsorships, or collaborations shall not conflict with the terms of this Agreement.

Other Collaborations. Higher Education Officers Association (HELOA) We work with HELOA both regionally and nationally, to engage with those in schools, colleges and careers services advising prospective students, to offer support and training to staff in HE liaison roles, and to share best practice on HE liaison issues. Specifically in the Midlands region, we support the delivery an annual conference for Teachers and Advisers, and an annual training conference for HE liaison staff (hosted and co-ordinated by this University in 2010). Colleges-University of Leicester Network (CULN) Comprising 19 Further Education Colleges and three Higher Education Institutions across the East and West Midlands, the Colleges-University of Leicester Network (CULN) has provided a forum to optimise collaboration between Further and Higher Education Institutions for the benefit of staff and learners for over 10 years. In support of learners entering Leicester through the network, the University will fund 150 scholarships of £1,000 each to be awarded by the member colleges to deserving students progressing to the University. The recipients will be selected by the colleges and will be students for whom the additional support will make the most difference; focusing on financially disadvantaged students and/or those with specific additional educational or practical needs.
Other Collaborations. MORPHOSYS and GPC hereby acknowledge that, unless otherwise provided herein, MORPHOSYS may grant exclusive rights to utilize the MORPHOSYS Technologies with respect to the development and commercialization of products (i) within or outside the Field directed to any Target which is not a GPC Target, and (ii) outside the Field directed to any Target, to any other party at any time and that, unless otherwise provided herein, MORPHOSYS shall have the right, alone or in conjunction with a third party, to utilize the MORPHOSYS Technologies with respect to any Target for any such purpose, or to grant licenses to third parties with respect thereto, subject to compliance with the provisions of Section 2.4. Nothing contained in this Agreement shall in any way restrict MORPHOSYS’ right to perform research or collaborate with third parties and to grant to third parties the right to exploit the results of any such research or collaborations without restriction other than as expressly provided in Sections 2.1.4 and 2.4, or in Article 3.

Other Collaborations. Being one of its founding members, SAP is participating in the European NESSI initiative aiming at providing a unified outlook for Services Architectures and Software Infrastructures for European research organizations. The work of XXXXX is strongly influencing the projects of the European Union's Seventh Framework Program, such as MASTER, RESERVOIR, SLA@SOI, and SOA4All, in which SAP is involved as a partner. SAP is also collaborating with the Modelplex FP6 project on model-based testing techniques involving formal models. Newcastle is now involved in the new FP7 STREP on Design Support and Tooling for Embedded Control Software (DeSTECS). The DEPLOY and DeSTECS teams in Newcastle work closely together on the topics of fault tolerance modelling.
Other Collaborations. The Leaders of the County, District and Borough Councils have committed a fund to reduce education and skills deprivation in four areas of Suffolk, three of which are in Ipswich and one on the coast in Lowestoft. The University and NEACO are working with this group as the priorities for the fund are developed in order to ensure all aspiration-raising and outreach work across Suffolk complements each other. The University will continue to work with University partners and other stakeholders to deliver work to raise aspirations and attainment, and to improve the success and progression rates of our students. We are working closely with the New Anglia LEP to develop our portfolio within the strategic and economic priorities of the local area and to up-skill the Suffolk workforce. We have been working with the University of East Anglia on annual collaborative Care Leavers/Looked After Children events, and will continue to do this in 2018-19. We will also continue to work collaboratively with other East of England HEIs on outreach events for younger year groups and mature students, and will be involved with the Eastern Region Care Leavers Group. The University of Suffolk is a proactive member of the Higher Education Liaison Officers Association (HELOA). XXXXX is the professional association of HE staff who provide information, advice and outreach activities to prospective students, their families and guidance advisers. Good practice around access and outreach is shared amongst members regionally and nationally. The University’s new Ipswich Waterfront Innovation Centre (IWIC) is creating new collaborative opportunities for employers to work with our students, which is developing our students’ employability skills and increasing their understanding of applying their academic knowledge to the world of work. The development of Higher and Degree Apprenticeships is expected to increase the University’s engagement with employers, with the benefit likely to be felt across the University.
