Workers' Compensation and Employer's Liability definition

Workers' Compensation and Employer's Liability as used herein shall include business written on a standard Workers' Compensation form of policy, insuring the liability imposed by the Workers' Compensation Acts and United States Xxxxxxxxx and Harbor Workers' Act, or similar acts or laws.

  • The Contractor shall have in effect during the entire life of this Agreement Workers' Compensation and Employer's Liability Insurance providing full statutory coverage.

  • Certificates as listed above shall be submitted along with the contract as evidence covering Comprehensive General Liability, Comprehensive Automobile Liability, and where applicable, necessary Worker's Compensation and Employer's Liability Insurance.

  • The Contractor shall provide a Commercial Umbrella Liability Insurance to provide excess coverage above the Commercial General Liability, Commercial Business Automobile Liability and the Workers' Compensation and Employers' Liability to satisfy the minimum limits set forth herein.

  • WORKERS’ COMPENSATION INSURANCEThe Contractor shall take out and maintain during the life of this contract the statutory Workers’ Compensation and Employer's Liability Insurance for all of the contactors’ employees to be engaged in work on the project under this contract and, in case any such work is sublet, the Contractor shall require the Subcontractor similarly to provide Worker's Compensation and Employer's Liability Insurance for all of the Subcontractor’s employees to be engaged in such work.

  • Workers' Compensation and Employer's Liability insurance limits of not less than $100,000 to protect the contractor from any liability or damages for any injuries (including death and disability) to any and all of its employees, including any and all liability or damage which may arise by virtue of any statute or law in force within the Commonwealth of Virginia.

  • The Contractor agrees to comply with Workers Compensation laws of the State of Maryland and to maintain a Workers Compensation and Employers Liability Policy.

  • Contractor shall maintain Workers Compensation and Employers Liability Insurance.

  • The amount of Employer's Liability Insurance forthe Contractor and each of his Subcontractors shall be not less than: $100,000 per employee for Bodily Injury.$100,000 per employee for disease$500,000 per policy for disease The Worker's Compensation and Employer's Liability Insurance policy shall include an "all states" or "other states" endorsement.

  • The Contractor shall require each of his Subcontractors to provide Worker's Compensation and Employer's Liability Insurance forall of the Subcontractor's employees engaged on such subcontracts.

  • Maintain Workers' Compensation and Employer's Liability to protect the Contractor from any liability or damages for any injuries (including death and disability) to any and all of its employees, including any and all liability or damage which may arise by virtue of any statute or law in force within the Commonwealth of Virginia.

  • Workers compensation insurance" means:

  • Unemployment Insurance means the contribution required of Vendor, as an employer, in respect of, and measured by, the wages of its employees (or subcontractors) as required by any applicable federal, state or local unemployment insurance law or regulation.

  • D&O Liability Insurance Policies means all insurance policies (including any “tail policy”) of any of the Debtors for liability of any current or former directors, managers, officers, and members.

  • Products Liability means:Your legal liability in respect of Personal Injury and/or Property Damage caused by or arising out of any Products or the reliance upon a representation or warranty made at any time with respect to such products; but only where such Personal Injury and/or Property Damage occurs away from premises owned or leased by or rented to You and after physical possession of such products has been relinquished to others.

  • Professional liability insurance means insurance against legal liability incident to the practice of a profession and provision of a professional service.

  • General Liabilities shall have the meaning given it in Article III, Section 6(b) of this Declaration of Trust;

  • Liability Insurance means compulsory professional liability errors and omissions insurance required by a governing body;

  • Unemployment compensation means cash benefits (including depend- ents’ allowances) payable to individ- uals with respect to their unemploy- ment, and includes regular, additional, emergency, and extended compensa- tion.(2) Regular compensation means unem- ployment compensation payable to an individual under any State law, but not including additional compensation or extended compensation.(3) Additional compensation means un- employment compensation totally fi- nanced by a State and payable under a State law by reason of conditions of high unemployment or by reason of other special factors.(4) Emergency compensation means supplementary unemployment com- pensation payable under a temporary Federal law after exhaustion of regular and extended compensation.(5) Extended compensation means un- employment compensation payable to an individual for weeks of unemploy- ment in an extended benefit period, under those provisions of a State law which satisfy the requirements of the Federal-State Extended Unemploy- ment Compensation Act of 1970, as amended, 26 U.S.C. 3304 note, and part 615 of this chapter, with respect to the payment of extended compensation.

  • Compensation and Benefits Programs means all compensation and benefit plans, policies, and programs of the Debtors, and all amendments and modifications thereto, applicable to the Debtors’ employees, former employees, retirees, and non-employee directors and the employees, former employees and retirees of their subsidiaries, including all savings plans, retirement plans, health care plans, disability plans, and incentive plans, deferred compensation plans, and life, accidental death, and dismemberment insurance plans.

  • General Liability Insurance Subcontractor shall carry minimum primary General Liability Insurance for the following amounts:

  • Compensation and Benefit Plans has the meaning set forth in Section 5.03(m).

  • Employment Practices means any wrongful or unfair dismissal, denial of natural justice, defamation, misleading representation or advertising, unfair contracts, harassment or discrimination (sexual or otherwise) in respect of employment by the Insured.

  • D&O Policy has the meaning set forth in Section 6.18(b).

  • Personal liability means personal liability for a debt, liability, or other obligation of an organization which is imposed on a person that co-owns, has an interest in, or is a member of the organization:

  • Errors and Omissions Policy As defined in each of the Servicing Agreements.

  • General Liability means:Your legal liability in respect of Personal Injury and/or Property Damage and/or Advertising Injury caused by or arising out of an Occurrence happening in connection with the Business other than Products Liability.

  • Legal Liability means responsibility which courts recognize and enforce between persons who sue one another.

  • D&O Policies has the meaning set forth in Section 8.06.

  • Accidental Bodily Injury means an Injury sustained as the result of an Accident and independently of all other causes by an outside traumatic event or due to exposure to the elements.
