VANTAS definition

VANTAS means VANTAS Incorporated, a Nevada corporation.
VANTAS means Valera’s hydrogel implant product, marketed under the brand name “VANTAS®”, designed to deliver histrelin continuously for 12 months and indicated for the palliative treatment of advanced prostate cancer. VANTAS is also concurrently referred to herein as the “Product.”
VANTAS has the meaning specified in the Recitals to this Agreement.

  • CIMA means the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority whose contact details are available from www.cima.ky;

  • Pioneer or the "Company" means Pioneer Natural Resources Company and its subsidiaries.

  • Biogas means gaseous fuels produced from biomass;

  • Tabarru’ means donation for the purpose of solidarity and cooperation among the Takaful Participants and to be used to help all Takaful Participants in times of misfortune. In the context of the Company, Tabarru’ will be allocated into the Participants’ Risk Fund.

  • STSMA means the Sectional Titles Schemes Management Act 8 of 2011, as amended and include the Regulations issued under the said act;

  • LHSIA means the Local Health System Integration Act, 2006, and the regulations made under it, as it and they may be amended from time to time;

  • Energy Star means the U.S. EPA’s energy efficiency product labeling program.

  • Crown means the government of the United Kingdom (including the Northern Ireland Assembly and Executive Committee, the Scottish Executive and the National Assembly for Wales), including, but not limited to, government ministers and government departments and particular bodies, persons, commissions or agencies from time to time carrying out functions on its behalf;

  • CSP means a Member or a Special Member, which action on behalf of itself or one or more other Members or non-Members, participates in the PJM Interchange Energy Market, Ancillary Services markets, and/or Reliability Pricing Model by causing a reduction in demand. Customer Facility:

  • IOSCO means the International Organisation of Securities Commissions.

  • S&P means Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services, a division of The XxXxxx-Xxxx Companies, Inc. and any successor thereto.

  • Kerma or "K" means the quantity defined by the International Commission on Radiation Units and Measurements. The kerma is the quotient of dEtr by dm, where dEtr is the sum of the initial kinetic energies of all charged particles liberated by uncharged particles in a mass dm of materials; thus K=dEtr/dm, in units of J/kg, where the special name for the units of kerma is gray (Gy). When the materials is air, the quantity is referred to as "air kerma."
