• For further certainty, the LHIN has not waived any provision of any applicable statute, including LHSIA, nor the right to exercise its rights under these statutes at any time.

• The LHIN’s ability to enable its local health system to provide appropriate, co-ordinated, effective and efficient health services, as contemplated by LHSIA, is heavily dependent on the timely collection and analysis of accurate information.

• This Agreement is a service accountability agreement for the purposes of section 20(1) of LHSIA.

• In this section 6.0, the terms “integrate”, “integration” and “services” have the same meanings attributed to them in section 2(1) and section 23 respectively of LHSIA, as it and they may be amended from time to time.

• It will be aligned with the LHIN’s then current integrated health service plan required by LHSIA and will reflect local LHIN priorities and initiatives.

LHSIA means the Local Health System Integration Act, 2006 and the regulations under the Local Health System Integration Act, 2006 as it and they may be amended from time to time. “Licence” means one or more of the licences or the approvals granted to the HSP in respect of the Beds at each Home under Part VII or Part VIII of the Act.
