Uganda National Minimum Health Care Package definition

Uganda National Minimum Health Care Package or “UNMHCP” means a set of essential cost effective interventions designed to respond to the most important causes of disease burden in the Recipient’s territory and organized around four aspects of health care, namely: (a) integrated maternal and child health services; (b) prevention and control of major communicable diseases; (c) prevention and control of non-communicable diseases; and (d) crosscutting areas of health promotion, community health initiatives, environmental health, and school health, as well as gender and health.
