Examples of Supreme Court Act in a sentence
If proceedings under the Supreme Court Act 1935 section 126(2) or the Local Courts Act 1904 section 130 are continued under subsection (1)(a), they are to be taken to be a means inquiry held under the Civil Judgments Enforcement Act 2004 for the purposes of subsection (2)(b).
Short title and commencement This Act may be cited as the Supreme Court Act 1935, and shall come into operation on a date to be fixed by proclamation 1.[2.
Equity means the body of law referred to as equity in section 24 of the Supreme Court Act 1935 (WA).
Subsection (1) has effect notwithstanding anything in section 16 of the Supreme Court Act 1935.

For regulating and prescribing the procedure and practice to be followed in cases in which the procedure or practice is regulated by enactments in force immediately before the commencement of this Act, or by any provisions of this Act re‑enacting any such enactments, or in relation to the master by any other Act in force prior to the coming into operation of the Acts Amendment (Master, Supreme Court) Act 1979 1, and for prescribing the Acts to which section 11E(1) does not apply.
The several rules of law and equity enacted and declared by the Supreme Court Act 1935, shall, unless express provision is otherwise made in this Act, be in force and take effect in the Court, as far as the matters to which those rules relate are respectively cognizable by the Court.
The Principal Registrar shall, subject to the rules, perform such duties as were immediately prior to the coming into operation of the Acts Amendment (Master, Supreme Court) Act 1979 1, performed by the Master of the Supreme Court in reference to proceedings in the ecclesiastical jurisdiction of the Court, and such other duties, as may be prescribed by the rules.
Subject to subsection (2), where by or under the provisions of any Act, being provisions in force immediately prior to the coming into operation of the Acts Amendment (Master, Supreme Court) Act 1979 1, it is provided that an act of a procedural, administrative, or ministerial nature shall or may be done by, or in relation to, the master that act shall or may, as the case requires, be done by, or in relation to, the Principal Registrar.
