SPI Code definition

SPI Code means the Society of the Plastics Industry voluntary coding system for plastic that identifies bottles and other containers, packaging and products by material type to help recyclers sort plastic by resin composition.
SPI Code means the identification number located on many plastic products indicating the type of plastic from which the product is made. The identification numbers are set by the Society of the Plastics Industry;
