Each Soil Conservation District administers New Jersey Department of Agriculture programs for one or more counties. Soil Conservation Districts are overseen by the New Jersey State Soil Conservation Committee in the New Jersey Department of Agriculture, which promulgates the Standards for Soil Erosion and Sediment Control in New Jersey at N.J.A.C. 2:90.
