Regional Governments definition

Regional Governments means the three regional governments of Amazonas, Cajamarca and Huánuco in the Borrower’s territory or any other eligible additional regional government in the Borrower’s territory found acceptable to the Bank and to the Borrower and reflected in the Operational Manual.
Regional Governments has the meaning set out in Section 10.6 [Payment of Regional Amounts];
Regional Governments means the regional governments of the Borrower’s Regions of Tigray, Afar, Amhara, Oromia, Somali, Benshangul, Southern Ethiopia People’s Region, Gambella, Harar and Addis Ababa;

The term does not include an association, corporation, or organization of governmental entities organized to provide to its members education, assistance, products, or services or to represent its members before the legislative, administrative, or judicial branches of the state or federal government.

  • MEC for local government means the member of the Executive Council of a province who is responsible for local government in that province;

  • Government Entities means collectively, the United States of America or any other nation, any state or other political subdivision thereof, or any entity exercising executive, legislative, judicial, regulatory or administrative functions of government, including any court, in each case having jurisdiction over the Company.
