Reasonable and Customary Expenses definition

Reasonable and Customary Expenses means a charge which: a) is charged for medical treatment, supplies or medical services that are medically necessary to treat Insured’s condition; and b) does not exceed the usual level of Expenses for similar medical treatment, supplies or medical services in the locality where the expense is incurred; and c) does not include Expenses that would not have been made if no insurance existed.
Reasonable and Customary Expenses means fees and prices generally charged within the locality where performed, for Medically Necessary services and supplies required for treatment of cases of comparable severity and nature.
Reasonable and Customary Expenses means reasonable and customary surgical/medical treatment expenses within the scope of cover of this policy to treat the condition for which the insured person was hospitalised.

  • This Policy shall provide cover:▪ within the limitations stated in the policy and the policy schedule;▪ for the actual, Reasonable and Customary Expenses incurred by the Insured Person;▪ for the services listed below;▪ that are prescribed and certified Medically Necessary by the attending ophthalmic Physician;▪ that are general accepted and scientifically recognized medical services, excluding any experimental or pioneering services; and▪ that have a Date of Service during the Benefit Period.

More Definitions of Reasonable and Customary Expenses

Reasonable and Customary Expenses means fees and prices gen- erally charged within the locality where performed, for Medically Necessary services and supplies required for treatment of cases of com- parable severity and nature.

Related to Reasonable and Customary Expenses

  • Reasonable and Customary Charges means the charges for services or supplies, which are the standard charges for the specific provider and consistent with the prevailing charges in the geographical area for identical or similar services, taking into account the nature of the illness / injury involved.

  • Reasonable and Customary means, in relation to a charge for Medical Service, such level which does not exceed the general range of charges being charged by the relevant service providers in the locality where the charge is incurred for similar treatment, services or supplies to individuals with similar conditions, e.g. of the same sex and similar Age, for a similar Disability, as reasonably determined by the Company in utmost good faith.   • Usual and Customary Charges means those comparable charges for similar treatment, services and supplies in the geographic area where treatment is performed.

  • Travel Expenses means any costs incurred by Licensor associated with the transportation, storage or lodging of equipment, supplies, Licensor employees and other items necessary for business use from Licensor headquarters to Licensee’s facilities. Travel expenses may include, but are not limited to airfare, hotel costs, and meals if applicable. Any travel expenses paid by the Licensee shall be paid at allowable government travel rates consistent with Management Directive 230.10, unless otherwise first approved by the Licensee’s authorized representative.

  • Management Expenses means the costs, charges and expenses necessarily and reasonably incurred or to be incurred for the management and maintenance of the Land and the Building and the Common Areas and Facilities therein to be borne by the Owners including the remuneration of the Manager as provided in this Deed;
