Public Health Division means the Oregon Health Authority, Public Health Division.¶
Public Health Division means the division of the Department assigned responsibility for public health matters.
Public Health Division. The Sonoma County Department of Health Care Services Public H eal th Di visio n works to prevent epidemics and the spread of disease, protect against environmental hazards, prevent injuries, promote and encourage healthy behaviors, respond to disasters and assist communities in recovery, and assure the quality and accessibility of health services throughout the county. To achieve this goal, the department places a high value on strong working alliances with local community groups representing the diverse populations who live in all areas of Sonoma County.

For the purposes of this definition, “public hospital” does not include a hospital or medical care facility that is funded, operated, or administered by the Iowa department of human services, Iowa department of corrections, or board of regents, or the Iowa Veterans Home.
