Health Care Services. CONTRACTOR shall provide comprehensive and medically necessary medical, dental, and mental healthcare services with related pharmacy services (including provision of pharmaceuticals) on a non-capitated basis to inmates in the Facility that meet or exceed the minimum requirements outlined in this Contract. This includes all healthcare treatment and related program support services. No deviations from the minimum service requirements shall be permitted without the prior written approval of the Bureau Chief. CONTRACTOR and the Department shall each act in good faith in the performance of all their respective contract duties and responsibilities. Access to and provision of all services outlined herein shall be in accordance with minimum constitutionally adequate levels of healthcare regardless of place of assignment or disciplinary status. CONTRACTOR must adhere to all FDC criteria, definitions, and classifications regarding medical and psychological grades. CONTRACTOR must be prepared to follow the most current version of FDC terminology, procedures, and health services bulletins.
Health Care Services. Any services rendered by Providers which include but are not limited to medical and surgical care; psychological, optometric, optic, chiropractic, podiatric, nursing, and pharmaceutical services; health education, rehabilitative, and home health services; physical therapy; inpatient and outpatient hospital services; dietary and nutritional services; laboratory and ambulance services; and any other services for the purpose of preventing, alleviating, curing, or healing human illness, injury, or physical disability. Health care services shall also mean dental care, limited to oral and maxillofacial surgery as performed by board qualified oral and maxillofacial surgeons. The term shall also include an annual Pap test for cervical cancer and minimum mammography examination as defined by state law and coverage for low protein food products as provided in La. R.S. 22:246. The services, items, supplies or drugs for the diagnosis, prevention, treatment, cure or relief of a health condition, illness, injury or disease. La. R.S. 22:242(6); La. Health Care Services. 8.1. Independent Living Health Care. As set forth above, the Facility is not licensed to offer and does not offer assistance with medications, bathing, dressing, mobility needs, or other personal care activities in its independent residential apartments. Resident shall be responsible for Resident's own health care and personal care needs while residing in the Residence. Programs promoting wellness and health screenings will be offered by the Facility.
Health Care Services. IPA agrees to provide or arrange for the provision of health care services as described in Attachment C of this Agreement to each HMO Member who selects IPA as his/her provider of medical services. IPA further agrees to provide additional medical services which may be required during the course of this Agreement by State or Federal law governing the HMO, provided that the monthly capitation paid by HMO to IPA for medical services shall be adjusted by amounts mutually acceptable to the parties to cover such additional services. IPA agrees to accept from the HMO the mutually agreed upon monthly capitation payment set forth in Attachment B as payment in full for the services described in Attachment C. IPA will participate to the maximum extent possible in the home care and other alternative care programs of the HMO.
Health Care Services. “Health Care Services” shall mean Medically Necessary (i) Hospital Services, (ii) Physician Health Services, (iii) pharmaceuticals prescribed by a Physician authorized to provide Physician Health Services hereunder—provided, however, that Spohn shall not be required to provide more prescription drugs than it is required to provide pursuant to the applicable provisions of the Handbook, and (iv) pharmaceuticals prescribed in respect of Hospital Services—provided, however, that pharmaceuticals prescribed for use after a patient has been discharged or after the outpatient Hospital Service has been rendered are subject to the limitation set forth in subsection (iii) above, and provided further that pharmaceuticals prescribed to Indigents shall conform to the requirements set forth in the Handbook.
Health Care Services. 1.1 General Engagement. County hereby contracts with SHP to provide for the delivery of all medical, dental and mental health services to inmates of Jail. This care is to be delivered to individuals under the custody and control of County at the Jail, and SHP enters into this Agreement according to the terms and provisions hereof.
