Professional services incident definition

Professional services incident means any act, error, or omission that is neither intended nor expected in the provision of, or the failure to provide, direct patient treatment, eye bank services, professional committee activities, or premises maintenance. Any such act, error, or omission together with all related acts, errors, or omissions will be considered one professional services incident and will be deemed to have occurred at the time of the earliest of such acts, errors, or omissions.

  • Professional Services means those services within the scope of the practice of architecture, professional engineering, landscape architecture, or registered surveying and mapping, as defined by the laws of Florida, or those services performed by any architect, professional engineer, landscape architect, or registered surveyor and mapper, in connection with the firm's or individual's professional employment or practice.
